The product is available in concentrate or diluted form, and can also be formulated for application at night (PASS QB NB.)

PASS® QB Texture Seal with BSA-35 Anti-Skid Surfacing

Is a pavement preservation process that maintains and improves the current condition of the road, and keeps skid values at approximately the same level, if not improved.  Texture Seal is a safer and more effective treatment for rejuvenating and extending pavement life of good PCI roads at a very low cost.
 
Agencies are often reticent to fog-seal busy arterial and collector roads due to the temporary loss of skid numbers, the Texture Seal process mitigates this concern by adding a micro texture finish all in one quick and convenient pass.

PASS® Scrub Seal

Part of a highly cost-effective Pavement Preservation strategy, PASS-CR restores failing areas, rejuvenates existing asphalt and seals cracks long-term, as a wearing course or interlayer application.

Crack filling prior to chip seal or overlay projects is one of the most time and labor-intensive activities carried out by maintenance professionals. PASS CR proves its value (and then some) when used in a scrub seal system, providing the benefits of a high-performance chip seal and rapid crack fill solution in one single application.

PASS CR’s ability to seal cracks makes it a leading choice for use as a stress-absorbing interlayer underneath a slurry seal or microsurface. Many agencies have found that the unique chemistry of PASS CR enables them to extend their work season, as the emulsion is more effective in cooler weather than conventional polymer-modified chip seal emulsions.

PASS CR is also highly effective as an alternative to solvent-based prime coats when used as a first course application on roads made of native base. 

PASS® Chip Seal

State-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and advancements in polymer science merge to form an innovative chip seal material utilizing the distinct advantages of both High Float and Polymer Modified emulsions.

Field photos comparing CHFRS-2p to CRS-2p show an increased amount of asphalt binder adhering to the aggregate. What this means is greater initial chip retention and enhanced durability of the surface treatment. The faster the chips are down to stay, the faster traffic can resume.

The Formulation Differs From Standard Emulsions In Two Significant Ways:

First, the PG-graded asphalt binder is enhanced with unrefined, natural asphalt known as Gilsonite.

Secondly (and as a result of the properties of the enhanced asphalt) the product contains as much as 2 to 10 times the amount of rejuvenating agent compared with currently available PMRE’s, while remarkably remaining even more stable, resilient and workable in the field with outstanding chip retention.

How PASS MAXX Achieves A Higher Content Of Rejuvenator:

PASS MAXX features a base asphalt that is enhanced with Gilsonite, a natural unrefined asphalt ore that improves the high and low temperature properties of the asphalt to make it more stable even when its composition is softer.

Improving the characteristics of the asphalt base makes the application more user-friendly and dependable in a variety of atmospheric conditions.
