SERVICES:
Through our affiliate company, VN Enterprises we may provide the following services to you:

- Wattles custom made and placed.

Seeding: Seeding is used to control runoff and erosion on disturbed areas by establishing perennial vegetative cover from seed. It reduces erosion and sediment loss and provides permanent stabilization. This practice is economical, adaptable to different site conditions, and allows selection of a variety of plant materials.

Erosion Control Services: The following methods are approved by the US EPA in the category of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). For further information on each process, please use the links below each category.

- Compost Filter Sock: Mesh tube filled with composted material that is placed perpendicular to sheet-flow runoff to control erosion and retain sediment in disturbed areas. A filter sock may be used in place of a silt fence or straw bale barrier.

- Compost Blanket: a layer of compost, produced from various organic by-products, for use as surface mulch for erosion/sediment control on sloped areas.

Fiber Rolls: Fiber rolls (also called fiber logs or straw wattles) are tube-shaped erosion-control devices filled with composted material. Each roll is wrapped with UV-degradable polypropylene netting for longevity or with 100 percent biodegradable materials like burlap, jute, or coir. Fiber rolls complement permanent best management practices used for source control and revegetation. Fiber rolls also help to slow, filter, and spread overland flows. This helps to prevent erosion and minimizes rill and gully development. Fiber rolls also help reduce sediment loads to receiving waters by filtering runoff and capturing sediments.

- Compost Filter Berm: A dike made of compost which is placed perpendicular to sheet flow runoff to control erosion and retain sediment. Is a cost effective replacement for silt fence.
